Thankfully, the Season is over…

The Mets are officially out of it.  It’s sad and unfortunate, considering how well the team performed MOST of the  season.  It amazes me that they could stay in first place just about the entire season, and self-destruct in the last couple of weeks.  And today was really disappointing from the get go… Glavine falling apart in the first inning was really painful.  But I think that the team got complacent, and for that, we got what we deserved.  The good news is that I won’t need to spend the month of October totally consumed with baseball and can focus on other things.  We’ve got next year, right?
