…the Sister Toldjah Review of the Barack Obama Infomercial! The best part is, she absolutely nailed it with this:
He lost me at hello.
So what did the big Obama Event have in common with most other 30 minute infomercials?
- They snag you with a promise of something irresistable
- They convince you that it’s possible by providing “real people” to either explain it or testify to it’s value
- They play soothing music intended to make you feel good about what you’re watching
- Oh yeah, best part, they lie
The only big difference between[...]
Here’s the video from C-SPAN of tonight’s Presidential Town Hall Debate.

Sarah Palin had her first big interview (6 parts) this week since being selected as John McCain’s running mate. Paul F. Villareal made the video’s available at YouTube.
Of course, ABC played it for as much air time as they could… including repeating sections of the interview on 20/20 last night.
Let’s see, Thursday “World News”, Thursday [...]
I’m still getting caught up on things political. Like, Laura Ingraham is now doing a weekly show on Fox called “Just In”. I have yet to see it, but if you’re a fan of her radio program, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
Speaking of Laura’s radio show, evidently she’s in the middle of some [...]

In other news, the Supreme Court has now gone too far. Sister Toldjah:
Quote of the day: “The Nation will live to regret what the Court has done today.”
That was Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, in his dissent on the USSC ruling today that Gitmo detainees have habeas corpus rights.
Lyle Denniston analyzes the ruling here.
Captain [...]
John Hawkins at Right Wing News today proclaimed an about-face on his position regarding John McCain. Granted, Hawkins is not make a huge shift in position, since he has shared the same opinion of many of us that McCain is far from conservative and not what we consider the ideal candidate. But he [...]
Geraldine Ferraro is the next contestant on “Who Wants The Most Media Attention?”. Today she resigned from Hillary’s Finance Committee because of remarks considered racist regarding Obama. She had essentially said that Obama’s campaign was having such huge success because he was black (Hillary’s gender has nothing to do with her success). [...]

Two fatal Motorcade accidents, two different treatments by Time Magazine. You really didn’t need to see the second one to know the first one showed the left lurching bias.
Hat Tip to Sister Toldjah.

I’m still a little overwhelmed by the events of Valentine’s Day.
People died or were injured and should not have been. It never should have happened. As with any other shooting of this type, we will have days of analysis about the drugs that this young man stopped taking, about the easy availability of [...]
Ann Coulter wants to campaign for Hillary if McCain is nominated… geez. She’s out of line, but that’s like saying Michael Savage is a little extreme. Really, this is nothing more than a lot of self-aggrandizing noise.
What’s really painful is how the MSM sees people like Coulter and Savage as reps for the conservative movement… that too is [...]
